Leeson Point Lodge is located in Quatsino, BC, on the NorthWest Coast of Vancouver Island. The lodge sits within Quatsino Sound — a quiet, protected setting known for great fishing and beautiful scenery. Guests travel to Coal Harbour, then continue by boat to the lodge.
The main target species are salmon (Chinook and Coho), halibut, and lingcod, with opportunities for rockfish, crab, and prawns. Whether you’re joining a fully guided trip or bringing your own boat, the fishing in and around Quatsino Sound is consistent and rewarding.
All fully guided packages include accommodation, homecooked meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as fish processing, packing, and freezing. Your guide will take you out for 8–10 hours of fishing per day, and all gear is supplied. Alcohol, fishing licences, airfare, and gratuities are not included.
Yes. Leeson Point Lodge offers a bring-your-own-boat option for anglers who prefer to run their own boat but still enjoy the lodge’s comfort and amenities. The rate is $275 per person/night, fish packing and freezing is available for $2.75 per pound.

All towels and linens are supplied — just bring your toiletries, clothing, rain gear, sunscreen and coolers for transporting your catch, and a fishing licence (with a salmon stamp printed before arrival). If you plan to take fish home, airline-approved boxes are available for purchase at the lodge.
